TiCN (Titanium Carbon
Nitride)
TiCN is best known for its corrosion
resistance, even in extreme temperatures. TiCN is recommenced
for demanding applications. TiCN is resistant to wear,
corrosion and high temperatures. Titanium Carbon Nitride
is one of the most durable and hard coatings we offer.
TiN (Titanium Nitride)
TiN coating is gold colored and applied
at a lower temperature for coating HSS without changing
the stuctural make-up of the tool. TiN has a surface
hardness of 80Rc. TiN coating also increases the life
of tools, and allows higher speeds and feeds to be used.
High lubrication means less friction and provides a
better tooling finish.

TiAlN (Titanium-Aluminium-Nitride)
Dark blue to black in color, TiAlN
can operate at temperatures around 800°C with minimal
friction. Best suited to HSS applications, TiAlN can
work at high speeds without requiring cooling liquid.
Deep Cryogenic Treatment
Liquid Nitrogen
gas is used to cool parts safely. Without exposing the
parts to liquid, we eliminate the risk of thermal shock
and damage to the parts. Our machine lowers the temperature
to lower than -300°F over a period of 20 to 60 hours,
to assure safe handling of parts. This treatment is
a great way to harden steels, and improve durability
of tools in certain applications.
