1967-
E & E Tool and Grinding is established as a manual
tool & grinding company.
E
& E was recognized throughout the entire Dayton,
OH / Miami Valley region for it's high quality tools,
and tremendous service. It was recognized as one of
the most demanding companies in the area, and did some
of the best regrinding in this region.
1987-
E & E Tool and Grinding was acquired by our parent
company CB Manufacturing and Sales Co. E & E continued
to operate as a manual regrind and machine shop.
1996-
Name changed to Certified Tool & Grinding.
This
reflected the change in our philosophy and made sense
with our dramatic new business plan. Our customers were
beginning to operate more technically sophisticated
machine tools. This meant they required the highest
precision re-sharpening and the most sophisticated specialty
tooling that was available. We began our mission to
create one of the very best tool re-sharpening and manufacturing
companies in the United States.

1996-
Implemented latest technology CNC Machine Tools, Metrology
Systems, Ground- work for new building began.
2000-
New state of the Art facility opened, Multi million
dollar equipment purchases installed. Continuing education
and training of all employees implemented.
2001-
ISO 9002 certification gained.
2001- AS 9000 certification gained.
2001- QS 9000 certification gained.
2003-We
are continuing to gain more and more business as well
as maintain business from many Fortune 500 companies
in our region. We meet the demanding manufacturing requirements
of Aerospace, Automotive, Medical, and other precision
machining industries. We have implemented continuous
improvement systems to meet the most demanding customer
expectations.
2003-
ISO 9001/2000 Certification criteria met.
We
have the resources of state of the art machinery, highly
skilled engineers and technicians, exemplary sales and
service representatives, and experienced leadership
all in place to help benefit customers.
